Mt. Pleasant Fitness Club brings you energizing, outdoor workouts designed to make fitness fun and build a supportive community. We started during the pandemic, and our love for fresh-air fitness keeps growing.

We meet five days a week, primarily at Bancroft Park, but we also explore hidden gems like Rock Creek Park to keep things exciting. We focus on how movement makes you feel - strong, positive, and like a better you!

FAQs

  • Our energizing 50-minute classes combine cardio, strength training, core work, and flexibility. Each session starts with a dynamic warm-up to prepare your body for the workout ahead. You can expect a fun and challenging experience that will leave you feeling refreshed and energized!

    You will learn new easy to exercise using bodyweight, free weights, med balls, resistance bands, and more– hang out with an awesome bunch of people, and get stronger each week!

  • Absolutely! We believe there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. We offer classes every month of the year. However, we prioritize safety, so in case of severe weather conditions, we'll reschedule.

  • Our classes are designed to be inclusive and welcoming to all fitness levels. We understand that everyone's fitness journey is unique, so we offer modifications and progressions to ensure everyone can participate and challenge themselves. We believe in meeting you where you’re at and helping you progress at your own pace.

  • Cancellations within 2 hours of class start time will forfeit your class payment. Cancellations made more than 2 hours prior to class start time will allow class payment to be applied towards a future session.

    MPFC reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient class enrollment, inclement weather, and government-mandated health restrictions affecting outdoor group fitness

    In the event of a class cancellation by Outdoor Fitness, you will have the option to reschedule your class or receive a credit for a future session.

  • Depends on the season :) In the summer, wear light fabric and colors, in the fall and winter-dress in layers! You'll want to be prepared depending on the weather conditions. Comfortable workout clothes and appropriate footwear are essential.

  • Absolutely! We love introducing friends to the joy of outdoor fitness. Enjoy your first class for free and bring a friend along to share the experience. The more, the merrier!
